Assam CM Himanta Contradicts Muslim As Largest Community

Putting aside previous scenario as ‘Minor Community’ the Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma contradictorily clarified that present population of Muslim in the state is quite large and could be stated as the largest community.

It’s time for them to undertake major responsibility in social integration, population control and poverty alleviation as being a big community according to Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma since presently 30 to 35 percent Muslim people settled here prior than to ten years back when they were acknowledged as minor group so should protect other minority community’s rights, religion and land.
