Robotic reform in tea production by the 180 year old tea industry of Assam to confront labour maintenance and peak price the technique of AI (Artificial Intelligence) to pluck selective tea leaves effectively within less time frame to be implemented.
Estimating it to be a new revolution the Tea Research Association is in the verge of implementing robotic methodology in selective tea plucking with consent of stakeholders and a project has been laid out in association with the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing, Jadavpur University and Tea Research under the finance of Union Ministry of Electronics and Information.
