Likha Yach Debin has
left a deep memory engraved in the hearts of Arunachal Pradesh’s people as her
compassion, courage to stand up for people’s right and to be a medium to
connect people’s woes have made her an iconic figure in the mass of
her state who had left them in a state of shock with her premature death.
Survived by her husband
Debia Tana with two daughters and a son, Likha yach was undergoing through
treatment for sometime but her death was not estimated when she breathed her
last in New Delhi at Sukhomoni hospital. Apart from her noble works Likha Yach
was conferred with prestigious awards like twice state gold medals for yeomen
service by GoAP and GOL including many State & Central Government awards
for her multiple excellent services.

Yach made her journey from a humble beginning from Subansiri district,
Arunachal where she was born before becoming a popular public figure as an
notable singer and part of Seppa then as Circle officer in East Kameng,
Itenagar’s DC office before being positioned as CO of Banderdewa.
