Union Shipping Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma at Pandu Ghat flagged in MV lal Bahadur Shastri vessel carrying 200 metric tonnes of food grain that arrived from Patna, sailing through National Waterway 1 and Indo-Bangladesh Protocol (IBP) route of 2,350 kms.
“New dawn for connectivity via waterways” expressed Union Minister Sonowal with delight and asked the stakeholders for implementation of transportation via IBP route and process investment for economic growth.
