Bringing the situation to a standstill with shutdown of business establishment in Nagaland except for educational, bank and office activities there was few transports plying on the road, giving a strong punch to government’s ongoing illegal taxation by CNCCI and DCCI.
The Confederation of Nagaland Chamber of Commerce and Industries and the Dimapur Chamber of Commerce and Industries (DCCI) made this impact of business shutdown for one day with bar of goods transport at the state entry points to protest against various illegal taxation on the business groups by the self styled government run by the Naga political groups. All types of taxes under the GST regime should be eliminated warned by CNCCI and DCCI to the government marking complete closure to business activities in 12 districts of Nagaland.
