Assam To list In A New Tourist Spot To Revive History Untold

Braving up to tell the untold stories of Dimasa Kachari’s 18th century kingdom Assam government has decided to enlist Khaspur Rajbari as a tourist spot.

Khaspur Rajbai was once an active place as it was the last capital city of Dimasa Kachari kingdom in 18th century that is located 25 kilometer from Silchar.

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma along with Tourism Minister Bimal Bora inspected the Khaspur’s  100 bigha area that was once an important part of Kachari Kingdom and have its valuable existence of lion gate, king’s temple and Rani Chandrabha Hasnu Park.

Assam government has proposed to revamp the area by installing a Rs 100 crore project where the cave of lord Shiva discovered 900 years back by RajaKrishnachandra Narayana will also be the integral part of the tourism venture.
