Will Indian Government Sort Out Small Retailers Woes?

At the ‘Question Hour’ in the Lok Sabha the Union Minister Piyush Goyal raised his voice as per to the law of Amendment of Consumer Protection (e-commerce) Rules 2020  for the small retailers whose businesses are impacted heavily by the big giants of Online retailers.

 

It is a long battle with retailers like Amazon and Flipkart who are making consumer to compromise price for default products. Supreme Court has rejected the pleas of Amazon and Flipkart against Competition Commission of India (CCI).

Goyal the Ministries of Commerce and Industry asserted that the government has taken strict action against the overcast over the small retailers by the big Online retailers, the Supreme Court issued further probe to CCI. As the Enforcement Directorate and CCI’s initial probe was briefly paused by the big Online retail companies will soon resume into action after recent Supreme court’s decision.
