WHO’s (World Health Organization) Virus Evolution Working group on track of SARS-COV2 Variants mutation of interest and has developed a Risk Monitoring Frame work.
Purpose of the Risk Monitoring Frame work under Virus Evolution Working group is to assess, identify and monitor SARS-COV2 variants concern and interest where even surveillance will be carried through molecular testing, epi studies and. genomic sequencing. There will be research on variants of concern with evaluation of impact on diagnostic, vaccines and therapeutics for quick global assessment.
The studies of various variants’ development are to counteract suitable vaccines decision by WHO.
