As Bangladesh stand oppose to India’s two Integrated Development Complex (lDC) initiatives, Tripura's aspiration to outgrow economic ties with the border nations dampens.
Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb revealed recently about this temporary setback on the proposed lDC project to be implemented at Manughat, Unakoti plus Muhurighat, South Tripura districts though the state is empowered financially by the Centre.
The issue is with the Bangladesh Border Guards (BGB) who did not grant permission to India’s authority for the layout of the IDC project on the Tripura frontiers according to Tripura Chief Minister Biplab.
