This time it appears there will be no excuse when plastic usage in school premise will soon come under the scrutiny of the Assam government who is to deploy agents to verify whether every education authority is abiding by its new set of rule to control toxic escalation that is degrading its eco-system.
Assam government had initiated a notice a year before to the authority of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to abstain plastic material usages in its premises but so far this order has not been taken seriously.
Certain environment conscious school authorities of Guwahati have stepped into prohibition act against plastic bag usage and litter of plastic materials in the school premises excluding children’s necessary accessories.
