Recollection of the first flyover construction pace at Ganeshguri in Guwahati city had taken extreme toll over the traffic pace where not to forget how people fought against the dusty air to achieve their goals.
Dust originating from construction material, earth drilling and congested traffic pollution revives the bitter memory of getting an extended version of it though the government has proposed to erect for the ease of communication.
According to the Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonwoal the foundation for the latest reinvented version of Ganeshguri flyover was laid to ease out congestion in its commercial area that creates heavy impact on its traffic.
Present reinvented design of the flyover will be designed in’ T ‘shaped format, connecting the existent Ganeshguri flyer with a new extended portion from the famous Ganesh Mandir point. The question that remains about the new flyover in Ganeshguri is about its solidness on quality front because wear and tear experimentation can collapse this futuristic idea as already the existent one has flaws which had underwent repair during Tarun Gogoi Congress government regime.
