IAS Officer Returns To Mizoram With Justice After A Year



Lalnunmawia Chuaungo a 1987 batch lAS officer from Gujarat who returns to Mizoram as the newly appointed chief secretary was justified by state’s civil societies with removal of state chief electoral officer S B Shashank who had transferred him to Delhi on the allege of causing election process interference last year  Assembly election.

Presently Chuaungo who takes in place of Arvind Ray as Mizorams’ new chief secretary by the Ministry of Home Affairs on this Monday had earlier as the principal secretary for Home and Finance department in the state.

Last year the Mizoram Assembly election came under fire with unexplained exit of Chuaungo to Delhi due to allege of his election interference by the state chief electoral officer S B Shashank where today after a year civil societies has avenged for the injustice done to him.
