Tension prevails in Udalguri due to the issue of BTAD’s latest version as business transaction and daily operation remained affected due to prevail of violence during the two days All Koch Rajbongshi Student’s Union directed Assam Bandh on Tuesday in alliance with Obodo Suraksha Samiti and Koch Rajbongshi Sanmilani in Udalgiri district.
Though the authority under Udalgiri district had enhanced security measurements but daily function and business transaction were affected when unwanted violence triggered causing loss of property and injury. Police had to detain agitators to control the possible threat of violence in Udalgiri. Intensity of this call of Assam Bandh by AKRSU was evident from government and institute’s frail attendance report.
