Now Indian tourists can
have trio cruise experience while travelling to Assam via Kolkata to reach
further end destination in Bangladesh through three major rivers sail
from Ganga, Brahmaputra and Jamuna.
According to Indian
government’s fresh release of cruise plan to inaugurate in Assam (Dhubri) via
Kolkata (Ganga) port to transact country border area Bangladesh (Dhaka) will be
carried by Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI). This project which is
under the aegis of shipping ministry is to garner cruise tourism revenue and
extend employment opportunities in India.
The cruise passengers
will experience a new journey to Assam through National Waterways-2 from 29th March,
2019 next year that will be operated by the Heritage cruise line.
