How surgical strike is conducted the public in general has no clue but those inquisitive minds in Northeast had the privilege to have close practical insight on such effective emergency mission at Paramkram Parv event organized in Shillong, Meghalaya state of eastern region of India from 29th Saturday to 30th September.
Marking 2016 Surgical Strike conducted by the Indian Army at the LOC region, the anniversary of this military exercise at Paramkram Parv event showcased its main motive to influence more youngsters in this field with public display of extensive weapons meant for such operation apart from its medical coverage.
This event was publicly arranged with the theme bearing ‘Know Your Army’ with the clubbing effort of Assam Regimental Centre and the Indian Army as Gorkha Training Centre. Celebrating the second year of the Surgical Strike in India at 51 locations, the main focus of the Indian army is to intimate their experience with the common men and to inspire the young aspiring minds to join their field for the pride of land.
