Many Aadhaar & PAN dupe cases have occurred
in central India where on fake calls by representing as bank executives people
are asked to detail on their confidential PAN and Aadhaar information to link with
debit card account for better customer service through telephonic and e-mail
communication.
In this fake promise to link the bank
account with PAN and Aadhaar card the caller cheats by asking the victim to share
the received message with one-time password (OTP) and once the person does it then
his money gets debited from his account.
