In the highest attempt to gear up for employment opportunities with emphasis on skill training to 1.65 Lakh people in Northeast the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) is keen on tie up with colleges.
Recently NIELIT has tied up with six colleges of Assam for improved academic facility such that the skills honed on it the students can make a better career on it. NIELIT has come up with a 100 crore budget to set IECT building in entire Northeast with include of training in digital kills sets and awareness programme at free of cost to target groups like school teachers, graduate, elderly people, farmers, school & college students, women, engineering students and diploma holding engineers.
