Competition of Bhela Ghor with straws of rice and cane has superiorly advanced in Assam where Sivasagar has attempted to make horse ridden rath or chariot while rest districts merged in grounding rice, preparing pithas, sweets, practicing Bihu, playing music with energy and zest building rhythm of Magh Bihu Celebration in advance.
Few days to go for ‘Magh Bihu’ people are busy talking about it and in preparation to welcome the biggest event of the year just like in rest of India where celebrate as Makar Sankranti but in low key manner unusual from Assam. Bhuj Bhat is the appealing start of the ceremony before the grand Maji celebration takes place.
