It is estimated to taste three to four years for the new office of Deputy Commissioner to come up at Rupnagar from Kachari.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta biswa sarma who had visited the site to be constructed for the new DC office stated additional ten new DC offices to come up in ten bighas of land in the where the actual investment could not be configured now. Infrastructure of all DC offices will have spacious infrastructure with provision of parking spaces.
