First In India CSIR-NEIST Jorhat Brings Hope Of Cost Effective Cancer Cell Detection Technique!

Everyone knows Cancer diagnosis is the greatest hurdle due to expensive imported hi-end CQDs technology based tools which local version has been got patented unbelievably in India by a Assam's CSIR- NEIST team from Jorhat district with their historic attempt in developing their first cancer cell detection technique through cost effective low quality coal substance.

Headed under the scientists Binoy Kumar Saikia and Tonkeswar Das the CSIR- NEIST team, Jorhat of Assam was first in India to accomplish a tough mission to develop coal oriented chemical process to turn dirty cheap coal into a biomedical ‘dot’ for cancer cell identification.

Processing of carbon quantum dots (CQDs) of 10nm less size chemical components  derived from cheap low-quality plus intense sulphuric content coal products to prepare for cancer cell diagnosis according to the scientist Binoy Kumar. CSIR scientist Jorhat on their patented CODs nanomaterials had mentioned how the entire process helps in bio-imaging micro cancer cell effectively apart from chemical and opto-electronic sensing ability with equivalent impact as in Japan and US based CQDs products.
