The Indian Railway authority in their latest strategic move to improve customer relationship has extended a move to help Guwahati users of its service revive fast their claims related to goods items and compensation by setting up a Railway Claims Tribunal infrastructure in Guwahati capital city Assam.
This huge responsibility to shift earlier Railway Claims Tribunal from Kolkata to Guwahati was painful but effective to swift process public woes on pending settlement of their long term claims. Additional shift of bench from Kolkata to Guwahati decision was incumbent on the counterpart of Indian Railway authority to ensure goal oriented service from its Northeast Frontier division as it is connected or easily accessible to its entire Northeast users.
