Tripura’s Floral Economy To Take A Boost


In the advent of fruit export  success the Tripura Government is planning for floral market expansion as it has ideal soil and climatic condition to boost this sector of business as revealed by the Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb at the launch of four day Flower exhibition at Rabindra Kanan Park in Agartala.


In the objective to revitalize floriculture the Tripura government has initiated to boost the new generation female production group to produce wide variety of flowers to garner floral business in the state.


On this 33rd Annual Flower Exhibition of Tripura was followed by a floral Rangoli competition by the Horticulture Society of Tripura to inspire producers in this field with award and to revive this ancient traditional art.


Youth of Tripura has taken this beneficial floral business seriously as many are involved in professional pursuit in nationwide best floral training institutes and industries. Looking at floral prospect in the state even the Chief Minister Biblpa Kumar stressed on commercialization of floriculture.
