Dalmia Cementing Foundation To Social Root

Bringing crucial social issues to public highlight through the medium of Mobile Theater is a social responsibility also entertainment apart where in honor of those artists who did a great job by contributing their talent in rural welfare the city’s top cement company Dalmia introduced first Mobile Theater Awards as a mark of felicitation.

Many a times crucial rural and generic public issues remains sidelined on big screen which is the biggest medium of educating and informing larger mass, Mobile Theatre on comparative note is doing a great job by featuring those essential elements  through entertainment medium. For greater traffic and faster spread of social issues that are centrifugal in society’s welfare in interesting manner that even a lay man could interpret.


On this essential essence of Mobile Theatre the Dalmia Cement’s CEO Mr. Mahendra Singh marked that each individual associated with the Mobile theatres is important for doing a responsible job in bring out awareness through this medium of entertainment in the rural parts of Assam.


‘Udyamaman Bhraymaman’  the local term of Mobile Theatre is connected to small to big artists in Assamese film industry where specifically twenty categories had been introduced to recognise those had contributed in delivery best in this entertainment business for the society’s welfare. 


Mobile Theatre award function which was staged at GMCH Auditorium of Assam’s capital city, Guwahat at June’s mid-ending highlighted Kohinoor theatre’s Barsha Rani Bishoya as Best Actress, Best Actor Jatin Bora from Surya theatre and Best Theatre for Abahan. The special highlight of this colourful event was Dasarath Das who was felicitated with ‘Aditi Sharma Life Time Achievement’ Award.
