T R Zeliang To Admin Nagaland On A Key Note



It was unfortunate of T R Zeliang’s exit from his Nagaland Chief Minister role due to his failure in controlling the tensed scenario of the state but he is not out of the sight as recently he has been appointed for a key role as government’s Finance Advisor, equivalent to cabinet minister rank.



Zeliang after stepping down from CM post under the Joint Coordination Committee and Nagaland Tribal Action Committee’s demand on 19th Feb has been directed to an influential role as state’s Finance Advisor by the Governor P B Acharya. In this role of Finance Advisor the former Nagaland CM will receive facilities, honor and pay equivalent to a cabinet minister according to official report.
