It was unfortunate of T R Zeliang’s exit from his Nagaland Chief Minister
role due to his failure in controlling the tensed scenario of the state but he
is not out of the sight as recently he has been appointed for a key role as
government’s Finance Advisor, equivalent to cabinet minister rank.
Zeliang after stepping down from CM post under the Joint Coordination
Committee and Nagaland Tribal Action Committee’s demand on 19th Feb
has been directed to an influential role as state’s Finance Advisor by the
Governor P B Acharya. In this role of Finance Advisor the former Nagaland CM
will receive facilities, honor and pay equivalent to a cabinet minister
according to official report.
