Meghalaya And Assam's Four Lane Express To Resolve Matter On Battered Communication



Advent of monsoon the two states Meghalaya And Assam are in the urge to resolve common seasonal ugly scenario of battered route communication by heavy downpour  by initiating a joint probe on the issue at the four-lane expressway connecting the regions from Ri Bhoi and Kamrup respectively.


According to the NHAI (National Highway Authority of India ) officials the pathetic scenario of states’ route link occurs due to unplanned set up of infrastructures near the water outlets of Byrnihat and Jorabat areas, obstructing required drain out during inundation by heavy downpour.



Jorabat and Byrnihat link faces heavy traffic if the roads remain disrupted due to inundated water where people from two states are affected according to National Highway Authority of India official. NHAI had approached the deputy commissioner of Ri Bhoi to resolve traffic issue deriving due to inundated water by opening the converts.
