Recently the capital city Assembly House in Meghalaya is bustling with
varied scam issues while recently the opposition party stirred against ruling Congress
led MUA-II party to present transparency on 2009-10 GHADC scam.
NPP who had opposed on the GHADC scam relating to fund dislocation and Congress’s
fair play during their regime, expects the ruling party to answer on the queries
at the budget session in the state Assembly in 3rd March.
If Congress does not clear GHADC scam doubts as revealed by Sanjay Goyal, the
Deputy Commissioner of West Garo Hills, on illegal financial handling and
appointments in the Council from 2009-2010 after an audit then may loose people's confidence. Public may look
towards change if they sense foul play and betrayal if the
ruling party fails to produce transparency on GHDAC scam.
