Estimation is high as 2013 decision did not reap desired result and this
year when challenges are high from competitors Meghalaya Congress is not
sparing issuance of party tickets as they have become more calculative on their
offer.
Next Assembly poll is near and the Congress party of Meghalaya is not sparing
any opportunity to turn the election game on their favor again and processing
tickets to reliable aspirant candidates. Past fault in 2013 has taught lesson
to Congress of dire consequences for not recognizing the strength of few
independents of Khasi-Jaintia hills. Currently Congress has become intensly cautious and planning more strategically to get more
seats from each constituencies by being more analytic in ticket issuance.
