The young generation is state’s future and if they are not guided properly
at adolescent stage then their life may go astray and it is in the necessity of
building better future of Meghalaya has emphasized social media campaign to
highlight on ‘A smart teenager, for a bright future’ theme based program was
initiated at Youth Festival at U Soso Tham Auditorium, Shillong on 18th
Feb.
It is on the urge of growing complex health issues at adolescent the commissioner
and secretary of the sports and youth affairs, F.R Kharkongor stressed on
creating awareness through social media campaign for effective and potent
impact in educating parents to handle adolescent issues
It is in the greater objective to enable large mass to have better insight
on adolescent issues, an effective interactive session was built with experts
at one common platform the youth festival under the Directorate of Health
Services (Maternal Child Health and Family Welfare), National Health Mission, State
Commission for Women and the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi
Hills.
