Solar Power Backup VSATs At 100 Centres Of Arunachal Pradesh To Boost Wifi Activity For Digital Operation



In a new venture to boost Wifi function the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Pema Khandu has decided to install solar power backup VSATs facility at hundred administrative centres.


This interim measure is taken by the government in observation to ease out connectivity issues at a cost effective price.

In observation to make the existent Wifi hotspot centers fully active with additional support VSATs to public, the chief minister had requested for financial backup to the ministry. The funds provided for 100 VSATs installation will also include NIC and SEMT extension and upgrade.


The Union minister in reaction to Khandu's request to improve IT and telecom sectors with installation of latest technology and required set up for infrastructure, assured of financial support.



In this digital revolution the center will set CSC model that is linked with all schemes relating to centre and state for the of gain direct benefit by genuine beneficiaries according to the union minister.
