Chief Minister Pema Khandu in an urge to improve
regulation in the state by maintaining its transparency for public enduring
support urged for e-Governance transformation.
For easier and faster governance process, Pema Khandu
stressed for paperless operation of State Civil Secretariat in the future
through development of information technology.
IT and Telecom infrastructure development will be
prioritize by Khandu for better transparency and accountability of the
governance to the public. Much before that
Arunachal Pradesh government need to develop communication in its
complex terrain for people reach before digital approach according to Khandu.
In this massive mission Khandu requested the IT and
telecom ministry for strong assistance to materialize it. To drive the investors to extend their
business and service, Khandu will shortly release a policy to subsidize the
charges to enact as incentive.
Attractive incentives to foreign investors can only
materialize Mission Mode projects like e-District including Swan and State Data
Centre in Arunachal. If required Khandu himself will involve personally for
keeping fast track of these projects' activity.
To witness a digital state, Arunachal is yet to overcome
further challenges since it could not support the required Common Service
Centre (CSC) scheme model in areas with minimal population, unreliable
connectivity, G2C limited services and less transaction activities.
