NorthEast United FC (NEUFC) was not unfamiliar as previously
they had pitched well against the defending team but this time in the show
against Mumbai City FC their movements were not under control as they miserably
slipped and toppled a lot even if their performance was dynamic and helped
opponent scheme out a winning opportunity.
No matter NEUFC's Indian Super League (ISL) starting at the home
ground went off with flying colors, overpowered potent opponent like Kerala and
Goa FC teams. Goalkeeper and top influential international players have good
command over the local players by enabling them to adapt their style.
Needless to speak about Mumbai FC which remained to be the most
dominating team but for the first time they overpowered the opening match
against Pune. In ISL history Mumbai never started off well but this time
strategy seemed to have changed as they continued to rule the winning streak
from the day one.
Still yet six more home ground plays they
have to ace to keep the spirit of Mumbai high. NorthEast's Portuguese coach
Nelo Vingada is really focused and aggressive who as per to his words mentioned
before the match that in their third consecutive attempt to taste ISL success
could place Mumbai in a challenging position, appeared to be true except luck
forbidden his win.
