German Scholar, Thibault Weigelt At The Launch Of Srimanta Sankaradeva New Cultural Centre

On this moment of inauguration of the Cultural Heritage Centre at R. K. B. Road, Athgaon, Dhing  on September 3, 2016, the German scholar, Thibault elevated the mood by his speech expressing high respect to Sankardeva's  culture.

Entrepreneur Joon Rajkhowa, Dr Biman Hazarika, a researcher of Sankari including prominent personalities like Nityananda Bora, Khagen Bora, Indranil Gayan and Gautam Saikia in favor of the ‘Society for Srimanta Sankaradeva’ expressed their great regards to the body for their contribution in global extension  of the Sankari art and craft. They applauded the society’s grave dedication in keeping alive the legacy of Srimanta Sankaradeva by sipping it deep into the roots of the upcoming generation and bringing its impact beyond the region.



Attraction of this Cultural Heritage Centre is that the interested people can engage themselves in Manuscript Conservation , Aharya Production, Bhaona art, Sattriya Nitya, Aharya item purchase etc, in it.


Sangeet Natak Akademi is in the edge to leverage mission of the society by sponsoring wider outlook Aharya training workshop and avail its products for sale which are delivered by the Society for Srimanta Sankaradeva.



Aharya items manufactured by Society for Srimanta Sankaradeva are quite sensational among artistic designers and fashion in-bent circuit people which claimed head turning response at Make in India exhibition in Mumbai.
