Approach of 2017, Manipur has witnessed faint emergence of women candidate
to play in coming month March election where out of 19 Lakh voters of the state
highlights large figure of female.
Manipuri women are equivalently educated in comparison to men won’t be
wrong to say and also actively involved in driving state’s economy but why
their strength are not relevant in major political roles is beyond reason.
Be it Congress, BJP, TMC, PRJA and NPP parties, each selected one or two
max female contestants where on total the figures rest on fingertips. Well this
decision of limited issuance of tickets to female candidates is due to party’s uncertainty
on their potentialities to take tough challenges for win as none wants to take
the risk of failure when competition is intense and competitors equivalently
tough.
