Modi's Rail Network Gestures Future Economic Uplift for Northeast

In the regime of Narender Modi, Northeast has witnessed major initiatives for the progress of the region from the Prime Minister in 2016 especially by opening three essential rail networks, detonating paralytic route issues for its development.

Development of Northeast depends on rail networks to improve business output. Already 5000 crore has been sanctioned by Modi government where Prime Minister stated, "It should be our endeavor that this money is spent well for development."

It is a major uplift for Mizoram and Manipur to now have their own broad gauge passenger and goods train networks. To ease business service and communication for commuters from Mizoram and Manipur the rail networks Bhairabi and Jiribam will run from respective place to Assam via Silchar. Apart from it Kamakhya-Katra Express from Assam to Jammu Kashmir is likely to hit more tourist inflow.
