After a successful peace pact on border security between Assam and Mizoram, now Assam gets assurance from Nagaland on police resort from the legally acclaimed areas.
Once the agreement is signed after the close
introspection by the chief secretaries of each state on the tension areas of Dissoi
Valley reserve forest and Tsurangkong valley, police standoff will be defused
to ensure peace.
To maintain police status on the legally acclaimed
areas, both the states government would conduct satellite imagery and aerial
vehicles for survey of the area. If things falls as per agreement then the
tension between the states would not remain for long.
