Pushing Forest Barriers For Human Habitation Impelling Elephant Menace In City?


Pushing forest barriers for human habitation is inviting more elephant threats in the city of Guwahati, Assam is a major concern for the public as according to Khanapara range wildlife sanctuary officer, Jayanta Goswami.


Coverage of human habitation in large scale forest areas within eight years that had earlier remained deserted for decades above  have impelled the wild animals to find food into these locations due to varied drastic conditions like climatic change and food limitation.
