'Handbook on Railway Safety Inspection Guidelines’ is a guidebook for smoother operation of railway which the Northeast Frontier Railway’s (NFR) Safety division has launched it for its internal staff under the authorship of Pradip Kumar Hira who is the deputy chief safety officer (Mechanical) of the organization at Maligaon office division in Guwahati, Assam.
Under growing challenges of multiple untoward incidents in railway as it has huge crowd rather than any transit points in the state due to its major advantages so this handbook has been introduced where staff can hold proper connectivity with the passenger and immediate staff responsible to hold crucial matter in particular category with effective safe measures.
According to the NFR general manager Sanjive Roy who had launched this 'Handbook on Railway Safety Inspection Guidelines, 2019' expects it is a must reference for all railway staffs on duty to make it a safe transit point for better travel experience of its passengers and in boosting its industrial growth.
