Assam Partially Went Black Out On 17th April!

Following recent gush of thunder, heavy rain and lighting after the severe gush of storm on 17^th April had left the entire state partially in darkness with electric poles left uprooted and power connection wires snapped.

There were numerous cases of causality to lives and properties in the hilltop areas of Assam’s Guwahati capital city. Even the vibrant the moment of Bihu processing seems to have come to a stall with quash of beautiful pandals on to the ground. The Guwahati capital city which remains lit with Rongali Bihu celebration remained marred with only observation of few functions.

  

Assessment on destruction of houses could not be figured well as the loss is huge. Government is trying its best to speed up action of restoration to power, medical and food facilities to the affected people under yesterday's cyclonic storm.
