It is in light to enhance Kodak, Upper Siang district’s route
networking with rest regions a steel suspension bridge was launched by Arunachal
Chief Minister Pema Khandu as a part of state development initiative.
Matter of steel has its worth where CM Khandu had made expenditure
of Rs 3894.00 lakh under Non-Lapsable Central Pool of Resources (NLCPR) for
rolling out 210 meters suspension bridge. To ensure Siang connectivity with the
sub-divisional headquarters instead of ply on foot to the river bank and trade
on traditional bamboo hanging bridge.
