Dipa Karmakar the Simone Biles of India

Short and flat feet but not short of determination that enabled Dipa Karmakar to ace in top international gymnastic competitions with strike of gold in Olympic debut start off at qualifying round for entry and secure of 8^th rank at vault qualifying round for entry in final competition.

This 4 ft 11 in (150 cm) power packed performer from Tripura has become soon the charm of India with few days left for Independence Day celebration, hope she adds more color to it. Neck to Neck there are more tough competitors who can ace with mild difference above Karmakar’s dynamic performance. Top contender Simone Biles who is 4 ft 8 in is also a short stature dominating gymnast like Karmakar of Tripura, India.

Acknowledging this possible threat Dipa’s coach Biswaswar Nandi does not want to take things finally with ease and had kept Karmakar in solitude away from media, fans and relative’s distraction to stay focused. Because the tough competitors can take away all her hard effort with few points above if she does not grab hold of her each move. A single slip or hairline mistake can fetch her competitors with medals. Even Karmakar believes in taking the toil and stay focused to bring bursting impact on this year Independence Day celebration in India on 15^th August.

Senior International Elite level category this little gymnast of Tripura, NE has made India and her state proud who despite of her major physical disadvantages had fetched 67 gold medals in national level and Bronze medal, 2014 Glasgow Vault including Bronze medal, Asian Championships 2015 Hiroshima Vault in international level.

This artistic gymnast from northeast Tripura who made a banging celebration at Rio Olympic with her straight success to final round following from the first day had turned 23, on 9^th August. Karmakar will be taking on to the toughest challenge known as  Produnova vault on the final gymnastic round at Rio Olympic.

Hopefully everything works out in her favor as Karmakar has a good track record in Produnova vault  with highest score of 15.300. In this tough attempt earlier Karmakar had achieved a bronze at the Asian Gymnastics Championships and fifth rank at World Artistic Gymnastics Championships.

In the world of gymnastic this style is considered to be deadly because a default in landing can make one go home with fatal spinal injury. Hope Karmakar in her attempt to do so overpowers the deadliest outcome while executing this style. As the Produnova style is inclusive of fast pace run with full tilt landing on the springboard followed with many acrobatic moves by moving hands on bars and jumping with two full rotational flips before descending gracefully without bent on knees.
