shape as its sales productivity relies now on proper road connectivity to its
destined market which due to flood has been badly affected.
In the urge of fast
recovery of road condition in long term futuristic purpose the Tripura Tea
Association of India (TTAI) has extended help from India’s Prime Minister
Narender Modi. Annual revenue from tea sales plays a key role in Tripura’s
economic growth where continued adverse transport condition can add woes to it.
Now prior demand is in
quick recovery of Assam-Agartala National Highway (NH-44) which TTAI
overlooking into its adverse impact on their market growth requested Modi for
aid to implore fast action. Required establish of essential and tea
transportation has come to a major stall as NHDCIL authority’s repair work was
not satisfactory according to TTAI secretary.
”Financial crisis at the time of flood should
not impact on the smooth running of Tripura tea industry under any circumstance
notified to PM in letter by TTAI. Moreover TTAI urged Assam Govt and Morth for
speedy restoration of roads to Tripura. Estimation of production is high in
comparison Ito last year,” marked by Sarcar, TTAI on growing emergency for
