Kamrup (Metro) district has successfully installed the most economic and effective alternate power the solar energy run street lights in thirty four constituencies of Sonapur.
Successful installation of about 24 solar streetlights
had been conducted by the Tiwa Autonomous Council( TAC) in various location of
Sonapur within two days.
Fund processed under 2020-21 for development purpose,
TAC has provided solar power street lights in various vital junctions, roads
school and religious places. Every constituency under Sonapur has been provided
with solar street lights according to TAC executive member Paresh Rahang.
