Assam Police To Standardize Further

Five years back the BJP government has much emphasized police pace of work with implementation of high end technology, basically to control cyber crime but the new Chief Minister of Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma is planning to boost state’s security system to round up more challenges.

Three computers will be provided as per latest standardize plan in all police stations for secure and fast filing of cases but then Assam Chief Minister has to ensure whether such proficient operators are availed in each Thana. There are many cases where computer processing is not done due to inefficient operating staff in police station. Especially in remote areas away from the hub of the city and town areas digital operation are not conducted.

Special training or computer professional should be availed in each police stations meant to digitalize FIR filing including other virtual processing.

Under new police standardize plan, quarters equipped with generators will be availed to OCs and three Sub inspectors. Additionally annual 2.5 lakh financial support from constituency fund will be availed including source money to each police stations of Assam.
