Sending deadline by 13th September, the Guahati High Court directed concern authorities to produce their analytics to counteract growing traffic congestion that is leading to severe impact on air control and time management for general public in achieving their goals where city bus body’s irresponsibility in following laws has been detected to collapse the metro concept.
The Guwahati High court has detected the greatest obstacle in smooth traffic is due to negligence on the counterpart of the City Bus Body in following directed routes. City bus regulatory body has particular buses designated for certain roads which are not abide strictly, leading to traffic congestion in busy areas. Secondly, the city buses are giving traffic lanes a snarl by not following as per to the designated stops. This attitude of city bus drivers are giving fast moving cars a setback in getting fast out of traffic.
In this respect the state authority and the respective departments had been strictly instructed for not counteracting growing traffic issues and city bus’ poor regulation on road. It is almost a year the authorities of seven department and state authority have not produced substantial report on Guwahati Traffic control to ease the life of the growing travelers in the city that is to transform into metro outlook.
