According to Guwahati Traffic survey report it has been found that the present phase of the city registers 98, 581 vehicles (April 2018-March 2019 tenure) which is a huge pressure on the limited figure of Traffic Police Personnel.
It has been founded that only 30% could turn out for 8-10 hours duty while 63 % enable to combat 10-15 hours duty according to survey report where sometimes when certain personnel bunks to escape from pressure the Assam Police Force are often found on the run to control growing movements of vehicles in the city at all odd times.
Now to control this often disappearing act of the Traffic Police Personnel the Guwahati authority has not only to recruit more people but also implement the strategy of traffic regulatory bodies in Big cities who even under stress manage daily more than million cars in a day. The problem is that there are certain bodies and class of drivers in Guwahati city who take the road as their own property now as long as such morals continues the society could not take further the genre for modern outlook of the land.
