The Tripura Tea Development Corporation (TTDC) in its new massive tea plantation strategy has initiated to fund and cover the cultivation area beyond the international border fence but as per to the legal guidelines for greater productivity through legal process.
Today TTDC proposes government for allotment of 150 yards of land beyond the international border boundary that remain unused to be utilized for development project purpose and to outgrow Tripura’s rich culture of tea production in quality manner.
Currently Tripura’s 856 km area remains unused at its international border area but TTDC is eyeing additionally on the miles extend unused areas outside fence boundary where Mohanpur subdivision has tasted their success with annual profit of 4.80 lakh through tea cultivation.
