Yesterday, Guwahati capital city saw little relief with sunny and dry day throughout, especially the threat from the swelling
Brahmaputra seem to have calm down.
Yogendar Nath said, “It seems after full moon phase some
expectation of flood relief is estimated for we have traditionally have witnessed changes and intensity of weather condition affecting due to planetary phase.
But today due to intense human faults in infrastructure planning and
deforestation we cannot expect the same as the present weather condition have
become more unpredictable.”
Meenakshi Debjanini stated, “Night followed with cloudy
condition till today in morning reflects frequent rain in smaller intensity
which likely would not harm the growing threat from swelling Brahmaputra. But
still fingers crossed and expect prices of goods falls soon.”
