To influence the organic
factor in Assam region by establishing an organic agriculture university to
evaluate on the concept through research and studies to guide present farming
generation for quality output of agro food for the welfare of the society the
Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal had revealed for an effective initiative on
Saturday last week.
On the grand eve of 21st Assam
Agricultural University (AAU) convocation in Jorhat the state Chief Minister
Sarbananda highlighted how effective organic farming is in influencing the
market due to higher demand of its products and marked that by establishing
institute on organic farming could fulfill public’s prior need to process
healthy lifestyle that starts from the quality of food we intake to endures us.
Currently under AAU this organic university project has been initiated on which
the organization has submitted a report to speed up its infrastructure.
