A promise made by Sarbananda’s BJP government after the reign into power in 2016 in a fierce battle against the ruling Congress government to implement proper cross border sealing of the boundary sharing with Bangladesh to control illegal influx is to materialize soon by the fall of 2019 on January as a new year’s gift to the people of Assam.
It is not cement sealing promise but a very hi-tech one so that Assam remains secured within its riverine boundary line spread to 48 km to abstain from the previous innumerable cross border illegal activities. It is like a wall with monitoring system with implementation of latest technology like GPS, Radar and UAVs etc to detect and control all types of threats to the state under the cap of BSF to minimize the tremendous strain upon defence personnel implemented across the border.
