Myanmar To China Route Development In Northeast To Prep Up ASEAN-Indo Business Network



The 25th anniversary of ASEAN-India Dialogue Partnership in Northeast lifted with special highlight on the re-launch of Stilwell Road or Ledo Road, Northeast that connects the region with the economically potent border nations like Myanmar and China.


But prior to this reopening of the historic Stilwell Road or Ledo Road starting from Assam to Arunachal Pradesh, Pangsau Pass to make gateway to border network to Kunming, China through Myanmar destination, lots of route and infrastructure development processes are important.


Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein on to a positive approach stressed on speedy business relation with border nations with reopen of Stiwell Road for easier reach of Arunachal Pradesh’s products to greater economic zones. Chowna Mein expects ASEAN leaders to favor trade in goods agreement for potential outcome. But to materialize this dream the trio nations India, China and Myanmar need to position proper infrastructure, roads and power according to Chowna Mein.
